I was born in Arkansas. Lived there until I was nine, less than 30 minutes away from all of my aunts, uncles and grandparents. I was contantly surrounded by people who loved me and we lived a quiet life. Southern Pacific Railroad bought the Cotton Belt Railroad and my Dad began the climb to success. So we moved to Shreveport Lousiana, then New Orleans, then Houston. Each town bigger and each job more important than the last. Until finally mid-life crisis, greed and mediocre marriage struck and my parents divorced while I was a sophmore in High School. So I spent alot of years deeply mad at a lot of people. Until one day I realized that I was the one who was in control of how good or bad my life was going to be and I wanted it to be good. So with God's help I wake up everymorning making a concious decision to be happy and thankful. Now I have three GREAT kids that remind me of why I am happy. With them comes lots of laughs, a couple of tears, cats, dogs, and hamsters. The horse is mine alone, if you asked the kids sometimes they might say I love him most. But of course that is only their imagination!
